First-time training, refills, and specialty fittings including Ortho-K and scleral lenses for harder-to-fit eyes.
Specialty care and co-management
Computer vision syndrome treatment, plus LASIK laser vision-correction evaluations and co-management.

Our story
The oldest optometry practice in Waterloo region
Kitchener Eyecare (formerly MacKenzie Heslip Eyecare) has cared for the vision of this community since 1899. Our optometrists do a thorough, unhurried exam, explain what they see, and use technology like OCT imaging to protect your long-term eye health. Because we run our own optical lab in the clinic, we control the quality, keep your costs down, and get you into your new glasses faster. Care is also available in Spanish.

Meet your eye doctors
A University of Waterloo Doctor of Optometry (Honours, 2008) who practiced in Toronto before returning to her hometown of Kitchener. Proficient in Spanish, she has travelled to Ecuador with an eyecare team to serve an underserved region, and welcomes open, direct communication with patients.
A University of Waterloo School of Optometry graduate who completed a residency in complex ocular disease and in-office optometric procedures in Oklahoma. A clinical instructor at UW's Ocular Health clinic and a Fellow of both the American Academy of Optometry and the Canadian College of Specialties in Optometry.
